Death Before Decaf key art

Your Body Is the Game

Most roguelites give you a health bar. We gave you a caffeine meter — and it wants to kill you just as much as the enemies do.

Drink too little: you're slow, weak, and losing. Drink too much: your hands shake, your vision blurs, and you have three seconds before cardiac incident. The entire game lives in the space between.

Coffee items drop constantly. Every drink tempts you closer to the edge. Every edge move is a calculated risk.

CRASH0–20%Slow. Weak. Classic Monday morning.
DRAG21–49%Functional but losing. Drink something.
OPTIMAL50–80%Peak performance. This is where you live.
JITTER81–99%Strong but unsteady. Your aim doesn't exist anyway.
OVERDOSE100%Six seconds to live. Spectacular death incoming.

Three Floors. One Very Bad Day.

The Break Room

The Break Room

Enemies: Foam Golems, Cold Brew Crawlers, Decaf Specters.

The Executive Suite

The Executive Suite

Nobody has responded to internal communications in three weeks. You will find out why. The Director is waiting.

Final boss: The Director. Three phases. Zero mercy. All caffeine.
